  1. This table shows the results of estimating Model (1) using groups of provinces based on their historical housing price growth rates. The threshold refers to an annual housing price growth rate of 33.3%. Provinces are classified as Extreme-growth if they experienced at least 1 year exceeding this threshold during 2008–2019; otherwise, they are categorized as Moderate-growth regions. The dependent variable PsychVisits_GR is the annual growth rate of psychiatric outpatient visits of province i in year t. The main independent variable HRet is the annual housing price growth rate. Control variables are defined in Supplementary Table 1. P-values are reported in parentheses. Statistical significance levels are indicated as follows: *p < 0.1; **p < 0.05; ***p < 0.01. The t-statistics are clustered at the province level. Suest test is used for testing coefficient differences between subsamples.
