  1. This table presents the impact of weekly housing market returns on specific categories of psychiatric outpatient visits. The columns show the relationship between housing market return in week t and psychiatric visits in weeks t − 1 through t + 4. The dependent variables are the logarithm of weekly outpatient visits for different psychological disorders: our primary measures of interest—anxiety (LogVisitW_anxiety), sleep disorder (LogVisitW_sleep_disorder), panic (LogVisitW_panic) and depression (LogVisitW_depression)—along with additional conditions that are typically more severe and have stronger biological underpinnings, including bipolar disorder (LogVisitW_bipolar) and schizophrenia (LogVisitW_schizophrenia). The independent variable HRetW represents the weekly residential housing market returns based on average weekly transaction prices of residential properties, scaled by the sample standard deviation in Shenzhen. P-values are reported in parentheses. Statistical significance levels are indicated as follows: *p < 0.1; **p < 0.05; ***p < 0.01.
