A clear distinction exists between the subpopulations of those simulated patients suffering from SCD and those who did not (the Welch's t-test, with T-statistics: 22.25 and 24.49; df: 992 and 833, for men and women, results in rejection of the null hypothesis with the p-value below 10−6).
