Accurate and accessible glucose monitoring is critical for managing diabetes and advancing metabolic health research. This Collection invites original research and reviews focused on innovations in glucose sensing—from noninvasive optical techniques and wearable biosensors to implantable devices and AI-driven data analytics. We welcome contributions that explore novel materials, signal processing methods, clinical validation studies, and interdisciplinary approaches that push the boundaries of current sensing technologies. Submissions may address, but are not limited to:
Optical and electromagnetic spectroscopy and other noninvasive sensing methods
Electrochemical and enzymatic sensor development
Integration of sensors into wearable or mobile platforms
Data modeling and predictive algorithms for glucose trends
Regulatory, usability, and patient-centered design considerations
