Plasmonic chiroptical materials suffer from the challenge of combining intense signals with dynamic tunability. Here, the authors present chiroptically active materials composed of linearly assembled gold nanoparticles with birefringent polymer films that enable dynamic tuning of CD signals by mechanical stretching.
