Single photon emitter deterministically coupled to a topological corner state

We achieve the first deterministic coupling of a topological corner state with a single quantum dot, observing Purcell enhancement and polarized single-photon emission. This extends the effect of higher-order topological phase into the quantum realm.

Transcriptional repression of estrogen receptor alpha by YAP reveals the Hippo pathway as therapeutic target for ER⁺ breast cancer

Hippo signalling is reported to be required for proper ESR1 expression. Here the authors reveal that the transcriptional repression of ESR1 is via LATS-YAP-TEAD-VGLL3 axis and the epigenetic regulation of ESR1 super enhancer in ER + breast cancer.

Functional and structural brain remodeling in patients with degenerative cervical myelopathy following cervical decompression surgery

Xie, Ni et al. employ advanced magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) techniques to explore preoperative and postoperative cerebral alterations in patients with degenerative cervical myelopathy (DCM). Their findings suggest that brain function restoration relies more on neural network compensation than on structural repair alone.
