Stochastic switching and analog-state programmable memristor and its utilization for homomorphic encryption hardware

Homomorphic encryption contributes to eliminating security issues during the data communication for edge computing. Here, the authors propose a 1-trasistor−1-memristor array as a homomorphic encryption hardware prototype. By leveraging the stochastic set-switching behavior and analog non-volatile properties of the memristor, the complete homomorphic communication process is demonstrated.

High-resolution T₁ MRI via renally clearable dextran nanoparticles with an iron oxide shell

A renally clearable nanoparticle consisting of a polysaccharide core and an amorphous-like iron oxide shell generates strong T₁ MRI contrast, facilitating the imaging of microvessels, as shown in rodents and rabbits.

High-pressure phases of van der Waals Weyl semimetal transition metal ditellurides

We assign the high pressure structural phase of transition metal ditelluride (MTe2, M = W or Mo), one of the most extensively investigated material groups. From the accurate assignment of structural phases, we offer comprehensive understanding of the electronic and topological phase evolutions. We can also clearly demonstrate anisotropic pressure-dependent structural evolutions for transition metal ditellurides, which can be generic behaviors of two-dimensional van der Waals materials under pressure.
