Diffusion-driven selective crystallization of high-purity salt through simple and sustainable one-step evaporation

Extracting high-purity salt from saline water through conventional processes is complex and environmentally unsustainable. A diffusion-driven selective crystallization strategy that uses a precisely designed floating porous membrane to suppress non-ion-selective transfer enables simple and precise ion separation and high-purity salt production from mixed source solutions such as Na⁺/K⁺, Ba²⁺/K⁺ and Mg²⁺/Li⁺.

tRNA-m¹A modification promotes T cell expansion via efficient MYC protein synthesis

Naive T cells are quiescent but undergo dynamic changes upon antigenic activation. Li and colleagues show that upregulation of tRNA methyltransferase complex TRMT61A–TRMT6 and N¹-methyladenosine modification of tRNAs contribute to accelerated mRNA translation efficiency, in particular that of MYC protein, and are required for rapid T cell proliferation.

Dectin-1-activated dendritic cells trigger potent antitumour immunity through the induction of Th9 cells

Dendritic cells instruct different types of T cell responses depending on the types of microbial ligands sensed.
