Presacan, Dorobanţiu, et al. evaluate whether using deep generative models can reconstruct a 12-lead electrocardiogram from a single- or dual-lead electrocardiogram. The authors use data from the publicly available PTB-XL dataset and indicate a poor ability to perform electrocardiogram reconstruction using deep learning.
