Tanaka et al investigate the mechanism by which psoriasis-like dermatitis may occur following PD-1 antibody treatment for melanoma. They find that PD-1 loss in CD8 T-cells accelerates dermatitis in a manner depending on IL-6 signaling, suggesting IL-6 as a potential therapeutic target.
