Deep learning-enhanced anti-noise triboelectric acoustic sensor for human-machine collaboration in noisy environments

Human-machine collaboration in noisy environments using conventional microphones remains challenging. Here, the authors develop an anti-noise triboelectric acoustic sensor integrated with a CNN-based deep learning model to facilitate complex human-machine tasks in highly noisy conditions.

Hierarchical helical carbon nanotube fibre as a bone-integrating anterior cruciate ligament replacement

An artificial ligament replacement is made from aligned carbon nanotubes formed into hierarchical helical fibres with nanometre and micrometre channels which are demonstrated for the replacement of anterior cruciate ligaments in both rabbit and ovine models, showing strong integration and functional recovery.

Oxo dicopper anchored on carbon nitride for selective oxidation of methane

Selective conversion of methane into value-added chemicals is a promising approach for utilization of hydrocarbon sources. Here the authors develop dimeric copper centers supported on graphitic carbon nitride (denoted as Cu₂@C₃N₄) with >10% conversion and >98% selectivity toward methyl oxygenates in both thermo- and photo- catalytic reactions.

Computational analysis of modular diazotransfer reactions for the development of predictive reactivity models and diazotransfer reagents

Computational analysis of competing sulfur(VI)–fluoride exchange and modular diazotransfer pathways in the reaction between primary amines and fluorosulfuryl azide reveals that diazotransfer is more kinetically and thermodynamically favoured. Predictive models are formulated by combining mechanistic analysis and structure–activity relationship studies, enabling the development of an easy-to-prepare and highly reactive diazotransfer reagent.
