Asymmetric hydrophosphorylation of unsaturated compounds is a straightforward and atom-economic approach to obtaining chiral organophosphorus compounds. Herein, the authors describe a Pd-catalzyed ligand controlled regiodivergent and enantioselective hydrophosphorylation of styrenes.
