Extracellular vesicles derived EBV tegument protein BRRF2 suppresses cGAS phase separation to promote anti-viral innate immune evasion

Viruses such as EBV use various mechanisms to avoid antiviral responses. Here the authors propose that the EBV protein BRRF2 is secreted via extracellular vesicles from NPC cells, disrupts the cGAS-STING pathway, reduces cGAS-DNA phase separation and the subsequent antiviral response.

Gate-controlled reversible rectifying behaviour in tunnel contacted atomically-thin MoS₂ transistor

Van der Waals heterostructures of atomically thin materials hold promise for nanoelectronics. Here, the authors demonstrate a reverted stacking fabrication method for heterostructures and devise a vertical tunnel-contacted MoS₂ transistor, enabling gate tunable rectification and reversible pn to np diode behaviour.
