Programmable Argonaute-mediated single-nucleotide variant sequencing of cell-free DNA for multi-cancer early detection

Mutation detection in cfDNA is crucial for cancer diagnosis and monitoring. Here, the authors develop an Enzymatic Cleavage-directed Single Nucleotide Variant Sequencing by integrating Argonaute-mediated cleavage and stem-loop DNA-initiated PCR amplification for cfDNA mutation detection.

Doping dependence of spin excitations and its correlations with high-temperature superconductivity in iron pnictides

Spin excitations are believed by many to play an important role in the emergence of superconductivity in the iron pnictides. Spin excitations and flat electronic bands in a Cr-based kagome superconductor

The authors find low-energy magnetic excitations and a flat band near the Fermi level in kagome metal superconductor CsCr3Sb5 by angle-resolved photoemission and resonant inelastic X-ray scattering. They suggest that the flat band plays a role in the emergence of charge/magnetic order at low temperatures.
