Liver endothelial cells respond differentially to various insults, influencing the liver’s niche and disease outcomes. Here the authors show that in response to bile acid chenodeoxycholic acid during cholestasis, endothelial Myc activation triggers P-selectin expression, promoting neutrophil infiltration and liver damage.
