Recent Hydrographic Investigations

Abstract

IN the first of the publications referred to below, Dr. Rolf Witting gives an account oof the hydrographic observations—sea-temperatures, salinities, oxygen-contents, current and ice observations—made in the Gulfs of Bothnia and Finland during the year 1911 by the Finnish hydrographers. The paper consists almost oentirely of tables, and these are models of clear and orderly arrangement.
