Abstract
DR. JOHN ROBINSON AIREY died in his seventieth year at his home in Newtown, Montgomeryshire, on September 16, after an illness lasting more than six months. He was a native of Leeds, where he received his early education at the Blenheim Council School and the Central High School. After serving as an assistant in the science department of the latter he was, from 1896 until 1903, a master at the Forth County School, Glamorganshire.
