Abstract
IF only on account of its rarity, the publication of a text-book of glotiology is an event worth noting, especially when the book bears the name of so famous an explorer Drygalski. This book is written primarily for the student of physical geography, but it will interest all scientific men and laymen who have studied glaciers and have attempted to solve some of the fascinating and paradoxical problems which their behaviour so often presents. The comprehensive contents touch all aspects of glaciology, from the physics of glacier flow to the climatological implications of recent changes of glaciation.
