Nature of the Lung Enzyme which inactivates Serum Vasoconstrictor

Abstract

RAPPORT et al.1 reported the presence of an enzyme, in extracts of beef and dog lung, which inactivates serum vasoconstrictor. In an attempt to characterize the nature of the enzyme, we have used their method to make active preparations from sheep lung and have examined them by biochemical, manometric and physiological means.
