Abstract
IN recent years, there has been much interest1–5 in the nature of creep curves obtained when metals are deformed at constant stress and temperature. Most of the experiments in this field refer to pure metals, but there has been some theoretical and experimental work6,7 on the interesting subject of a precipitation-hardened alloy.
