Distribution-in-Speed of Fading of 150-kc./s. Waves

Abstract

A CONSIDERABLE amount of work has been done on the ‘speed of fading’ of radio waves1–3. This quantity, often referred to as ντ, denotes the change in the amplitude in a certain time, τ, expressed as a fraction of the root mean square amplitude of the wave.
