Abstract
IN a recent communication1, we described a descending paper chromatographic procedure for the quantitative determination of hydroxyproline which required a solvent development of 40 hr. Using horizontal paper chromatography at an elevated temperature, comparable results have been obtained after development for only 4 hr.
