Abstract
FOLLOWING a report by Jarrett et al. 1 on the stimulation of resistance in sheep to infestation with Haemonchus contortus by dosing with X-irradiated infective larvæ, investigations are being undertaken at this laboratory on the value of this technique in producing resistance in calves to gastro-intestinal helminths.
