Abstract
THE beneficial effect of bone marrow transfusion in acute radiation syndrome is now well established. This effect seems to depend on the survival of transfused cells and their proliferation in the depleted hæmopoietic tissues of the recipient1. In view of this, there arises the problem of identification of donor cells. Various methods were devised to this end, each permitting the recognition of a certain percentage of a particular cell series1.
