Polymers of Carbon Dioxide

Abstract

POLYMERIC ions of the form ( CO 2 ) 2 + , ( CO 2 ) 3 + ,…. ( CO 2 ) 23 + have been observed in the mass spectrum of carbon dioxide. These may be produced from corresponding molecules in carbon dioxide gas.
