Detection of the mRNA of TACE by RT-PCR in different organs at different times during CM development. Samples of mRNA from the indicated organs of P. berghei ANKA-infected mice (3 mice per indicated time point) were isolated, quantified and analysed by RT-PCR with a primer and probe set specific for TACE. 18S was used as a control for the quantification of the total mRNA. *P<0.02; **P<0.001.
