From: The Tyrosine Kinase Inhibitor Tyrphostin AG 126 Reduces the Development of Colitis in the Rat

Effect of Tyrphostin AG 126 on colon injury. No histological modification was present in the control animals (A). Mucosal injury was produced after DNBS administration characterized by absence of epithelium (B) and a massive mucosal and submucosal infiltration of inflammatory cells (B1). Treatment with Tyrphostin AG 126 (C) corrected the disturbances in morphology associated with DNBS administration. Original magnifications, A, B, and C, ×125; B1, ×250.
