Sub-G1 DNA fractions in irradiated cell cultures with different initial cell numbers. After irradiation with 8 Gy X-rays, 50 000 (50 k) or 500 000 (500 k) cells were seeded. DNA analysis was performed in accordance with the time span used for the clonogenic assay. Cultures were either left undisturbed (closed symbols) or received fresh medium after 4 days (open symbols).
