Carbo-I=carboplatin AUC of 5 and ifosfamide 3 g m⁻² D1-3; Carbo=carboplatin AUC of 6; CAP=cyclophosphamide 750 mg m⁻²; doxorubicin 50 mg m⁻² and cisplatin 50 mg m⁻²; Carbo-C=carboplatin AUC of 5 and cyclophosphamide 600 mg m⁻²; E-Carbo-F=epirubicin 50 mg m⁻², carboplatin AUC of 5 and 5FU 1.2 m⁻², ECF=epirubicin 50 mg m⁻², cisplatin 70 mg m⁻² and 5FU 200 mg m⁻²/day via a pump for 4 weeks repeated monthly; T-Carbo=taxol 175 mg m⁻² and carboplatin AUC of 5; A=doxorubicin 75 mg m⁻², AC=doxorubicin 60 mg m⁻² and cyclophosphamide 600 mg m⁻²; cyclophosphamide=600 mg m⁻² (IV) once every 3 weeks and 50 mg TDS for 14 days monthly; melphalan=5 mg for 5 days six times weekly. All chemotherapy were given once every 3 weeks unless stated.
