  1. Cells were treated with aspirin (1,3,5,10 mM) for 16 h and cell numbers determined as described in Materials and Methods. There is an inverse correlation between IC50 values and the fold increase in apoptosis at both 3 and 5 mM (r=−0.93 and −0.98). Results are mean of at least three different experiments.
