Morphologic analysis after pre-miR miRNA precursor molecule transfections. May–Grunwald staining ( × 20 magnification, 0.5 aperture objective lenses (Carl Zeiss)) of cytospin preparations after 14 days of culture in a representative experiment. Morphology was evaluated with an Axioskop 40 microscope (Carl Zeiss, Oberkochen, Germany). The camera was inserted within the microscope. No software was used to optimize the figure.
