PROTAC for p300/CBP in prostate cancer

In prostate cancer, oncogenic transcription factors, including the androgen receptor (AR), collaborate with epigenetic coregulators at cancer-specific enhancer complexes known as enhanceosomes, to drive oncogenic gene expression. The acetyltransferases p300 and CREB-binding protein (CBP) are key AR coactivators in prostate cancer that induce histone acetylation essential for enhancer activation. However, the critical acetylation sites are unclear.
