Comparisons of blood pressure and kidney weight. Aliskiren significantly decreased mean blood pressure in mice with RAC (92.1±1.1 vs. 81.0±1.8 mm Hg, P<0.05) and reduces the atrophic effect of chronic renal ischemia (aliskiren−: 0.03±0.00; aliskiren+: 0.06±0.01g; P<0.05).
