Distribution of the injected VEGF-neutralizing antibody in glomeruli. Immunofluorescence staining with rabbit IgG (injected anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody) (a, b) and double immunofluorescence staining with rabbit IgG (FITC) and type IV collagen (Texas-red) (c, d) showed the presence of the injected anti-VEGF neutralizing antibody mainly along the capillary walls and focal mesangial areas in glomeruli of normal control rats (a, c) and Thy-1 GN with anti-VEGF group (b, d) at week 1 (5 days of continuous anti-VEGF antibody administration).
