Inflammatory cell infiltration

0 = absence of infiltrate

  

1 = subepithelial and in the lamina propria

  

2 = infiltrate reaches the muscolaris mucosae

  

3 = severe and diffuse infiltrate reaching the submucosa and/or involving the muscolaris propria

Parameter C

Edema

0 = absent

  

1 = focal

  

2 = zonal and/or moderately diffuse

  

3 = extensive and severe
