rhMFG-E8 prevents colon length shortening in DSS- and TNBS-induced colitis of mice with DSS-induced colitis. (a) Colons of mice exposed to DSS treated with vehicle were significantly shortened, while those of mice treated with rhMFG-E8 exhibited a dose-dependent reduction in colon shortening (n=5/group). (b) While the colons of mice exposed to TNBS and treated with vehicle were significantly shortened, those of mice treated with rhMFG-E8 had a dose-dependent reduction in colonic shortening (n=10/group).
