Abstract
Inverse gas chromatography was used to measure partial molar heats of mixing ΔH1∞ of several solutes on poly(propylene oxide) rubber. Flory-Huggins interaction parameter interaction parameters χ12 and its enthalpic and entropic contributions were also calculated at 354.1, 359.0, and 363.0 K. Polymer solubility parameters were deduced by the method of DiPaola-Baranyi from Flory-Huggins χ12 interaction parameters. Solubility parameters δ1 for the solutes were also reported.
