Applications are now being accepted for two new tenure-track faculty in Pediatrics at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor to join a newly formed research group centered on cardiac developmental biology. Investigators focusing on the molecular regulation of lineage determination, cell cycle regulation, and terminal differentiation as they pertain to cardiomyocytes, vascular development, and cardiac innervation are sought. Physicians-Scientists at all levels are encouraged to apply. There is particular interest in assembling a group of investigators with complementary systems approaches.
Applicants must possess a Ph.D. and/or M.D. degree and have a record of research productivity and grant support. Successful candidates will have academic appointments in Pediatrics and in a basic science department of the Medical School and are expected to establish a strong externally funded research program and contribute to graduate and medical education.
