Schematic diagram of the let-7c/IGF-1/IGF-1R/MAPK axis in DPMSCs. In our model of the let-7c/IGF-1/IGF-1R/MAPK axis, IGF-1R can bind to its ligand IGF-1 and regulate DPMSC proliferation/differentiation via MAPK signaling pathways. Hsa-let-7c can bind to the IGF-1R 3′-UTR and inhibit the expression of IGF-1R mRNA, thereby suppressing IGF-1-induced proliferation/differentiation in DPMSCs
