NHEKs were treated with different doses of UVB (0, 10, and 20 mJ/cm2) radiation and cultured for 24 h. a Total RNA was extracted from the cells, and relative mRNA levels of total (T) lipin-1, lipin-1α, and lipin-1β were measured via SYBR GREEN RT-PCR analysis. b Cell lysates were subjected to immunoblot analysis to assess lipin-1 expression levels. Protein levels of lipin-1 were normalized to GAPDH. c NHEKs were treated with 20 mJ/cm2 UVB radiation and harvested at the indicated time points (0, 4, 8, and 24 h), and cell lysates were immunoblotted with anti-lipin-1 antibody. Protein levels of lipin-1 were normalized to GAPDH. All data (mean ± SD) represent three independent experiments. Means without a common letter differ; P < 0.05.
