The COVID-19 GWAS identified SNPs mapping to the 3p21.31 locus. The lead SNP from each study (rs11385942 from Ellinghaus et al.82; rs73064425 from Pairo-Castineira et al.3) mapped to LZTFL1. Images were generated from the UCSC genome browser (hg38, chr3:45,388,000–46,361,000), showing RefSeq genes and Genotype-Tissue Expression (GTEx) RNA-seq data for selected tissues107.
