  1. Hazard ratios express the risk for all-cause mortality within the SBP response shape relative to people with an early rise in SBP. Adjusted HR accounted for differences in age, BMI, resting SBP and heart rate, diabetes mellitus, renal failure, COPD, cardiac disease, antihypertensive drugs, beta blockers, lipid-lowering drugs, anticoagulant drugs and percentage predicted workload.
