a Immunocytochemistry documented protein expression of VE-cadherin. It was suppressed by adding CAY10444 to HUVECs culture. Bar, 100 μm. Adding S1P to the culture medium did not alter the expression level of VE-cadherin mRNA in both HUVECs (b) and HRMECs (c). On the other hand, supplementation of CAY10444 to the medium suppressed VE-cadherin expression irrespective of the presence or absence of S1P in cultures of both cell types.
