hAoSMCs were infected with NC or lentiviruses expressing miR-126-5p. To induce the dedifferentiation of hAoSMCs, cells were stimulated with Ang II (1 μM) for 24 h at 72 h following the virus infection. a Cell proliferation was determined with CCK8 assay. b, c Western blot was performed to analyze the protein expression of α-SMA and MYH11 in hAoSMCs. d, e Western blot was performed to analyze the protein expression of VEPH1 in hAoSMCs.
