Note a relatively high number of infiltrating microglia/macrophages and CD3 positive lymphocytes in the confluent demyelination and perivascular infiltration lesion types and a relatively low IgG and C1q expression in these lesion types. In contrast to this, prephagocytic lesion and NAWM present an upregulation of Iba-1 intensity, no notifiable cellular infiltrate, and relatively high IgG and C1q expression. A–L 100× magnification.
