The a top and b side view of the structure of CQD CBR laser. c–e SEM images of the CBR unit and array. The outer diameter of each CBR laser unit is ~9 μm. With a designed dot pitch of 12 μm as depicted in Fig. 3e, we achieved a pixel density of ~2100 PPI calculated by pixel density (in PPI) = 1 inch/dot pitch = 25400 μm/dot pitch
