The well-differentiated component of H3K27me3-deficient dedifferentiated chondrosarcoma retained H3K27me3 expression (a, H&E, b, H3K27me3 immunohistochemistry), whereas the dedifferentiated component exhibited complete loss of H3K27me3 (c, H&E, d, H3K27me3 immunohistochemistry; note strongly labeled vascular endothelial cells as internal positive control). The staining transition between the two components was sharp (e, H&E, f, H3K27me3 immunohistochemistry)
