Retraction to: Neuropsychopharmacology https://doi.org/10.1038/s41386-018-0016-x, published online 07 January 2019

The Editors-in-Chief have retracted this article after concerns were raised about the data reported. Specifically:

  • The Gα and Caveolin-1 blots in the Control panels of Figures 1a and 2a appear to be duplicates;

  • In Figure 1e, the α-Tubulin blot in the Control panel appears to duplicate the Gα blot in the Imipramine panel;

  • Also in Figure 1e, the H and PM blots of AC-α-tubulin in the Control and Imipramine panels appear to duplicates;

  • The AC-α-tubulin blot of Figures 1e and 2a Control panels appear to be duplicates.

Following an investigation by the Publisher the authors provided raw data for the affected figures, but further review identified additional discrepancies between the published figures and the underlying raw data. The Editors-in-Chief no longer have confidence in the reliability of this article’s findings and conclusions.
