From: HMGA1/E2F1 axis and NFkB pathways regulate LPS progression and trabectedin resistance

The cross talk between HMGA1 and NFkB pathways. In sensitive cells, trabectedin binding the minor grove of DNA inhibits HMGA1 expression and function that results in cell death. In resistant cells, trabectedin treatment induces increases of HMGA1 expression and NFkB activity that result in tumor progression
