  1. aMethylophilus methylotrophus was also reported to be an aerobic cobamide producer, but its genome only has one corrin ring biosynthesis annotation (CobH). The reported concentration of cobamide it produced is at least 6-fold less than other strains in the study by Ivanova et al. (2006). We did not include it in this table.
  2. Bold species names were identified as cobamide producers in this study (Supplementary Figure 3)
